Among the renowned restaurants I visited in Buenos Aires
were the traditional down-town Las Nazarenas, and the no less famous La
Caballeritza in
Puerto Madero.
At Las Nazarenas I enjoyed really tender, grilled meat Asador Criollo,
even though the waiter was disappointed that I only ordered a small
portion.
The headwaiter, on the other hand, was more satisfied with my choice of
wine: a red Cabernet Sauvignon Estrella made by the quality producer
Bernardo C Weinert of Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza).
This first-class wine has a broad taste register in addition to
well-developed and complex nuances, some of which tend towards leather
and tobacco.
These remain fruity, even in the finish.
