Old favorites from Argentina

Weinert make Argentina’s best old-fashioned wines.
Aged for three years in big old barrels in a deep and cool cellar,
they develop the lovely tertiary aromas of leather and cedar.
The Cavas de Weinert 2003 is one of their best recent vintages
and is really worth trying.

Weinert Malbec, 2004

Soft and rounded after three years in large
barrels (foudres), this has mature aromas of
leather and cedar. 14.5%

Cavas de Weinert, 2003

2003 is a superb vintage for Cavas de Weinert.
This is sweet, ripe and plummy after three
years in foudres. 40% Malbec, 40% Cabernet-
Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. 14.5%
