Tasting glass: Impitoyable No 2
Cork: Neocork
Color: Strawberry juice / red cherry juice / light red rose petals, clear
Perfume: fresh bread softly roasted/toasted, fresh made cherry juice, different flowers, peach, Lakum (Turkish delight),
lychee, ripe water melon, red cassis from Patagonia, fresh figue on the tree, plum on the tree, mountain hay, some time in the glass also showing some apples & pears.
Taste:
Elegant and soft entry, mid palate builds up with nice structure and refreshing acids, with flavors similar described in perfumes, ending with some flavors of drops, house made marzipan
Persistence: Medium long persistence for a rose wine
General: Open some few minutes before tasting
Comida: My favorite plates for this wine are smoked trout, and the entree served in Katharinas (Entre Cielos Hotel Restaurant); Octopus served on softly dressed green salad with spices and herbs.
Storage: Maintain in a fresh and dark room, the wine will thank you and maintaining freshness and fruit for much longer time.
